It was a bizarre visit. She was very friendly and chatty, but almost to the point of seeming nervous or frazzled. The medical assistant typed my blood pressure into the computer incorrectly (making it look dangerously high) and she joked that the assistant must still be celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Then, after updating her on the current dose of my SSRI, she praised me for staying so slender "despite" the apparently high dose. It states very clearly in my medical record that I have a history of eating disorders. I also know that based on my answers to the depression screening, she should have followed up with me on that. She didn't. I don't know why those questions were asked if nothing is going to be done. Also, the physical exam was minimal. From what I could tell, she didn't even look in both of my eyes.
