She is the best.
Dr Lippman is great and great with my child. Also listens to parents
Appointment ran almost 20 minutes late. No apologies and no recognition that appts are running behind. Felt very rushed by the doctor. She didn't ask me if I had additional questions. Which I did. But I was so thrown off how rushed it was I forgot to ask her what I wanted.
We love Dr. Lippman. She's the best!
She's good. However, I would like to share my feedback to help with positive changes. Our Appt is 9:15, I have the Northshore text reminder to prove it. We arrived 5mins ahead of time. We were checked in timely. By 9:35 I asked the medical assistant how much longer is our wait because [name] was expected to be back at school no later that 10:30. When the provider finally came in to see my son she expressed her displeasure that I asked to check when she is coming. She told me our appt was actually 9:30. So I showed her my phone with our spot reminder stating 9:15. She then said 9:15 for the medical assistant to check vitals, but 9:30 for the provider. I didn't want to make a big fuss but you can't make this up. Our of politeness, I suggested if that if that's the case, maybe they should state that in the text reminder. Saying 9:15 is for the MA and 9:30 is for your MD. I am a nurse in a clinic myself, I know how the clinic function. Please correct me if I am wrong.
[name] loves to chit chat with Dr.Lippman. Lots of comfort with her.
She was so nice. Thorough. Patient. She explained how she is Northshore but not [name]'s primary doctor and so she needed to get some background info to be able to ensure his safety during the visit.
My daughter has seen Dr. Lippman for many years at least 13 years, our experience with her has always been a pleasant one, except for yesterday. Maybe she was having an off kind of day, I get that we are all human and we all put our pants on one leg at a time! I felt that the appointment was rushed, we were asked to come in at 2:30 instead of 2:45 so the doctor would have enough time to address all the concerns we are having, we still didn't get called back until about 2:45. No big, I know appointments can run behind, but I feel like we should have been given the same courtesy as the patient before us. Just sayin! Not only that but she has experience with working with teenagers, so she should be all too aware how teenagers behave, such as over explaining and or not know how to explain what is going on inside their body! I felt very awkward at this appointment. Which in all my years of being with NorthShore I've never experienced! Ever! My daughter even noticed a change in the doctors demeanor during this appointment. I considered changing physicians yesterday, because of this! My daughter has always had a fear of going to the doctor since she was just a little baby, we loved Dr. Lippman because she was able to make [name] feel comfortable during the visit. Yesterday my daughter did not feel comfortable. I actually had to start talking for my kid, I'm not the one experiencing the stomach pains or the everyday headaches just sayin! I don't know if it's the change over to a new company or what, but we definitely did not care for the experience we had yesterday. (Btw, I did call back and tell the staff that I would be there early per the doctors request!)
Dr. Lippman and her team have always provided the best care for my children!
