My provider asked me what the problem was and as soon as I mentioned she had been going to daycare she flipped on me. She lectured me about getting other kids sick. She also made other comments I don't agree with. She then said she needed to swab my child which she did but she shoved it in there. I'm a nurse and I would never treat a child like she did. She then stated we didn't have to wait and I would receive a message on NorthShore connect. She walked out and that was it. Didn't take more than 3 minutes with me. Didn't even try to give me any advice on what to do in regards to her symptoms and trying to make her feel comfortable. She was so rude and took it out on my daughter. I will never make an appointment with her ever again and will make sure to never recommend her to other families.
Provider was not happy that we were to see her. She was surprised that we got an appointment not her patient. She made several comments showing her displeasure why we came to see her. I felt like this provider didn't provide proper care to my son.
[patient] feels super comfortable with speaking with Dr. Lippman about anything
Dr. Lippman and staff took care of [patient], handled our situation, and came up with an excellent plan of care that was followed to the letter. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with children.
Dr. Lippman was very thorough and took time to review my daughter's medical history in light of my concerns.
Dr. Lippman, the nurses and the desk/office care team are all wonderful and we appreciate their consistency in kindness.
Dr Lippman is always friendly supportive and very informative
Scheduling and calling to make an appointment has sadly become a frustrating experience with frequently 15 to 27 minutes holds to connect to the call center. It's hard to get day of or next day sick appointments. If you try to schedule, online appointments are only available a week and a half out, there's no way to make an appointment over the phone after clinic hours, and during clinic hours you could wait half an hour on hold to talk to the call center. Even after talking to the call center you have to wait for a call back then from the nurse to see if there's additional appointment times available. The clinic staff is great and they're busy... But being a working parent it's hard to try Make appointments if you don't have hours a free time to wait for the back and forth phone calls. We absolutely love the nurses and doctors and would recommend those staff members to any family and friend, but scheduling has gotten worse over time.
We were rushed, the doctor spent a lot of time asking the child about his diet and sports, and did not have time to discuss the REAL concerns and problems that we had for the visit. Her only advice for all my concerns was " you monitor your child, and if it concerns you, we will discuss". Well... I've already monitored and had concerns, and wanted to discuss them, but apparently it was not that important from the doctor's point of view. Now, we need to make a new appointment to address our concerns, especially since our school teacher sent us concerns about the same matter. Even at immediate care you receive more attention than at the pediatrician annual check up.
My child's BMI keeps increasing from the last couple of years. Our doctor's advice is to get health eating habits place. I explained we already modeled and shared them since our daughter was born. What weI wanted to understand is why now is her BMI increasing so much and it's is so high when it wasn't in the past. There was very little said about it.
