Dr Shanks is immensely prepared and aware of my neurological history. She listened to my feedback and assessed my present conditions with respect to m'y 3 spinal fusion surgeries. She told me what changes I should make her aware of in the future. She genuinely cares about my welfare and health.

I feel for her given the stress she and her peers are under and, from what I have observed and heard, a decrease in the degree of care and attention the doctors themselves have been receiving about the quality of their day-to-day work environment.And I'd like to say this to you at endeavor. I want to assume that you're not taking over this operation as an altruistic move on your part. I'm assuming what you were trying to do is to make more money. If that is true, you should understand that there is a great deal of skepticism, among all whom I've spoken to in the system and patients who are friends and acquaintances of mine . Quantity over quality seems to have been the direction that the healthcare system was trending toward before the announcement of your takeover. If your goal is to improve the quality of care for the patients, the quality of the work environment and expectations of the doctors, and the extraordinary amount of time that we as patients need to wait for an appointment, please demonstrate that by your actions, not your words. Dr. Shanks is an excellent doctor. She came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. Yes, it was a long wait to see her, as it has been for many doctors, but my time with her was not a waste. She spent over an hour explaining issues to me regarding my symptoms and the diagnoses, and ended with her telling me what to do next. I would greatly recommend her to others.

Dr shanks listens and pays attention then explains. I always learn something. She is very natural, not at all robotic or cold. She is also realistic about the state of the system. She has been more helpful and reassuring over the years. Cameron also was very helpful in rescheduling my appointment after it had been canceled. Endeavor health made the initial scheduling error and cancellation then screwed up rescheduling for several days.
