Dr Chander knew exactly what to do when I presented with Sudden Hearing Loss: Put me on a high dose of steroids and make an urgent referral to an ENT. When I saw the ENT the next day, they praised Dr chander saying that many PCPs would just make a referral and not prescribe a steroid in the meantime. Quick treatment is critical for the best prognosis for sudden hearing loss, so he may have saved some of my hearing permanently by getting me on steroids ASAP.
