Conditions Pediatric (General)
Almost every appointment is late and never on time. Totally understandable to a certain extent. If there's a delay or Doctors are being backed up, the staff needs to communicate that along with an estimated time frame. Unfortunately, it almost always seems to be over 25 minute delay. Endeavor needs to do a better job of having a more efficient and on time schedule, but more importantly staff need to be extra friendly and sensitive to the patients and parents since children don't want to be there in the first place and start to get on edge while waiting a long time.
Dr. Chen was wonderful, personable, and kind. She explained things great and brought great tips to the table. My kid needed eye drops, which would have been impossible to administer, however, Dr. Chen described a trick that made painless for child and parents.
Positive and supportive
Provider was on time, kind, smart and the in office experience was great. However, the follow up, or lack there of, was so disappointing. Brought in a sick child, took her immediately for the bloodwork that was ordered and then sat and waited. Nothing. No calls. Watched as the results showed up in the portal with some scary numbers, no calls. A cryptic portal message saying "mono likely" but clear blood test results saying mono test was negative. Called the office left multiple messages, no return calls. Needed to know if child should go to school/isolate from siblings, etc. Cryptic message received via my chart that did not answer my question, should child be at school? What could I do to make her more comfortable? What did the results mean? Was told still provider was waiting on mono test, the same negative trst I could see In the chart. Waited three days. Nothing. Gave up and reached out to primary care provider (who we were unable to see on day of), Another very competent, smart provider we trust with access to the labs. Was told to bring the child back in. Entirely unclear why a revisit would be helpful as physical exam did not reveal anything?One 4 minute call back the day test results were in (or the next day? Or even the day after that??) Would have answered our questions and given sick child and me piece of mind. We need more from our pediatric practice. Reflected more on northshores procedures than in the doctors we know to be excellent-what went wrong here?
Dr. Belinda Chen has been our 2 daughters' pediatrician for 7 years now. She is an outstanding doctor. Very smart, compassionate, attentive, and trustworthy.
I'm extremely impressed by the visit with Dr Chen. She is the first pediatrician that took time to check my son during the annual checkup. This was beyond the best doctors appointment I've ever had with my children.
Dr. Chen has been our kids' physician their whole lives. We LOVE her. She is absolutely outstanding: helpful, wise, caring, insightful, and encouraging. She is THE BEST!
Doctor Chen is an excellent doctor. She is always very attentive and helpful. She answers all of our questions and takes our concerns seriously.
Doctor Chen is great at answering questions. She is thoughtful and listens to all the concerns we have. We talked about specific concerns we had with [name] and she gave good ideas and her thoughts for future help and referrals if we need them. We also had a question about our other child and she answered it as well.
I would not send anyone to this clinic because there are so many obstacles. Dr Chen is excellent but the rest of the staff present obstacles to care.
