I finally have a primary doctor who listens and cares for my health. I also had my husband visit her and she took his blood pressure seriously and they got it under control.
I LOVE Dr Ijaz. She's thorough and listens
I drive from WI to be seen by this group of medical professionals. They have always been attentive, pleasant, thorough, and caring. I think I've been a patient since 2011 and I haven't had a bad experience yet!
I'm quite pleased (and relieved to have transitioned to Dr. Ijaz). She is thorough, efficient, knowledgeable, and kind.
Dr. Ijaz,Before I came to see you, I received a call questioning why I had made the appointment. When patients make appointments, there is a section we have to fill in, and I had completed that. However, when I arrived at your office, you seemed completely unprepared. You hadn't looked at my chart and started asking me questions without any context. As I began explaining my situation, you interrupted me and told me that wasn't why I was there. Then, after glancing at my chart, you mentioned that the appointment was a follow-up after an ER visit the previous night.I confirmed this and mentioned that I had informed the office that I was experiencing various symptoms and needed blood work. You suggested I should see my primary care physician (PCP), to which I agreed but expressed my dissatisfaction with how you were interacting with me. It felt as though you didn't care about my concerns. Your demeanor shifted slightly, and you asked me to continue explaining my symptoms. However, you interrupted me again with questions about Wellbutrin, without having reviewed my chart. I explained three times that I had been taking Wellbutrin for ten years. You mentioned it could affect the liver, but it seemed you weren't processing the information I was providing. When I asked about my high pulse, elevated blood sugar, and liver issues, you reiterated that I needed to see my PCP. At this point, I decided to leave, expressing my discomfort with the appointment and your apparent lack of empathy and rudeness. Your behavior not only failed to provide the help I needed but also negatively impacted my physical and mental health. Distressed by the interaction, I had a minor accident in the parking lot after leaving your office.I am deeply disappointed. Instead of offering the help I needed, your actions exacerbated my condition. It's a shame that, as a healthcare provider, your lack of care and professionalism had such a negative impact on my well-being.Additionally, I would like to point out that in your notes, you mentioned that the patient was upset and withholding information. It's important to recognize the role you played in creating this situation. Please have the decency to accurately document patient interactions and take responsibility for your part in the encounter. Honest and thorough documentation is a crucial part of your job.Sincerely,[name]
Both the MA and Dr. Ijaz were incredibly friendly and had excellent bedside manner. Both welcomed me as a new patient to Dr. Ijaz. Dr. Ijaz was personable and really listened to my history and current concerns. We had a good conversation about a treatment plan. I felt comfortable asking her questions and played a role in the decision making process. I am relieved to have found Dr. Ijaz as my new PCP.
