Dr. Elperin and her staff at the practice office are excellent medical professionals. My issues are with the gatekeeping imposed by NorthShore University now Endeavor health. With the elimination of walk in hours, it is essentially impossible to get in to see my PCP or one of her in office colleagues with short term notice to be seen for non emergent yet time sensitive health issues. The system is set up in such a manner as to force patients to seek care at immediate care centers, which IMO is far from the personalized level of care provided by a local group practice. Follow up via portal based messaging is difficult and time consuming for neuro divergent people like myself.
