Not very friendly. Dismissed some concerns I had.
Friendly and thorough.
This visit was great. The doctor was great! The emergency room at Glenbrook Hospital however . . . If you go to the emergency room at Glenbrook Hospital you'd better do 3 things: 1.) bring a sleeping bag2.) be ready to wait for hours3.) and maybe bring a body bagI recently went to the emergency room with a health scare. I could see how serious it was by the look of fear in my wife's eyes.We got to the emergency room at 9:30pm. After an hour I was exhausted and there was nowhere to lay down. By midnight I still wasn't seen. I had to go home to be able to get some sleep otherwise things would have gotten even worse. As we were leaving we saw an elderly woman with a smashed face. She had been waiting for three and a half hours. And there was nowhere for her to lay down. Her adult daughter was trying to figure out how she could get food delivered because they were waiting there so long and feeling weak. The emergency room at Glenbrook Hospital is less of an emergency room, and more of a waiting room.It is my hope that the senior executives at the hospital have their loved one share the exact same experience. So that way they can understand what it is like. Because they don't seem to understand it right now. At a bare minimum at least two senior executives should lose their jobs. The lack of care is unacceptable and life-threatening.
I few days later I sent an epic email informing the doctor I had tested positive for Covid. I got a response asking when I was systematic. No response. I called the office and was asked if I wanted a script. I said possibly, I was interested in talking to the doctor. Five days after I informed the doctor I got a message saying he had put in a script. There was no other communication from the doctor. By the time I got the medicine it would have been borderline too late. Not helpful at all.
I like my Dr and have been seeing him for a number of years now. When nurse took my vitals etc she asked if I was a new patient.
Dr Cohen Lewe provides an invaluable service to his patients.
Dr. Cohen-Lowe is a first rate physician who cares about his patients. Yes, I highly recommend him.
Nice guy... Clear communication... Helpful...
Dr Cohen-Lewe stepped in to be my doctor for a pre-op appointment. My doctor, Nancy Mantich, recently retired. He was nice, thorough, respectful and I appreciate that very much. Having never seen him before, he was wonderful. Thank you.
He is great!
