Making Your Profile Stand Out - Twitter

Basics:

• Profile photo: select a clear photo that represents you
• Cover photo: select a photo that represents your field or interests
• Bio: Include @NorthShoreWeb, @HealthyDriven  @NCHonline @SwedishChicago
• Website: Link to your other social profiles, relevant company landing page, or another professional website.

Leveling Up:

• Pin tweet to the top that represents your presence on Twitter
  • Pin tweets by clicking on the 3 dots in the top right corner and selecting ‘pin to your profile’. This will keep the tweet at the top of your profile
  • This is also where you go to delete a tweet
• Follow companies you are interested in.(Follow Northshore!)
• Follow influencers who inspire you.(ex., colleagues and notable figures in your field)
• Retweet messages from colleagues, brands, and leaders who positively influence you.
  • Retweet messages by selecting the two arrows between commenting and liking a post.
