Named by Business Week as one of the 10 best places in America to raise children, Wilmette offers two beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, excellent parks and kid-friendly library programs. Its popular French Market runs from May through October and features fruits, vegetables, flowers, cheese, meats and breads from local and regional vendors.
The Village is served by the Chicago Transit Authority’s “L” (elevated) line and Metra commuter trains that take residents downtown in 30 minutes.
