Anisha Patel, MSN, RN, APN, OCN, serves as the Clinical Coordinator for the Myra Rubenstein Weis (MRW) Living in the Future (LIFE) Cancer Survivorship Program at NorthShore University HealthSystem. Ms. Patel has dedicated herself to the care of cancer patients through survivorship by providing patients who have completed treatment and their families with guidance to prepare for life after cancer treatment. Her expertise includes recommendations for follow-up care and every day health practices, knowledge regarding potential effects of treatments and management, as well as access to professional services and survivorship resources.
Ms. Patel also co-facilities the MRW LIFE group education programs, helping patients find additional support and resources.
Ms. Patel received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Emory University and earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago. She has worked in a variety of oncology subspecialties, including both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings as well as hematologic malignancies and solid tumor malignancies.
