A pharmacy is located within each of the Kellogg Cancer Centers. The pharmacies prepare and dispense all medications, including investigational agents for patients after they are reviewed by oncology pharmacists. Specially-trained oncology pharmacists work as part of the team with oncologists and nurses to provide optimal care for each individual patient. The pharmacists also participate in patient education, nausea/vomiting management, pain management and other symptom management.

Outpatient Oncology Pharmacy
Oral chemotherapy medications can be dispensed out of the Foster Medical Pavilion (FMP) Pharmacy on the campus of Endeavor Health Swedish Hospital and will be delivered via mail to patient's homes at no cost.

Your oncologist can send your oral oncology prescription to the Foster Medical Pavilion Pharmacy. A Kellogg oncology pharmacist will then reach out to you to discuss the mailing of your medication to your home, at no cost to you. The pharmacist will also be available to provide education on your medication and answer any questions you may have. Your enhanced experience may include a pharmacist provided pharmacotherapy review, which will provide a comprehensive review of all your medications.
Kellogg's clinical pharmacists offer specialized information and support related to these oral chemotherapy drugs, in addition to other cancer-related medications. This service enables the Kellogg pharmacists and nurses to monitor patients for any adverse reactions and communicate information and concerns with other members of the patient's treatment team. Research has shown that a patient's oral chemotherapy success is closely related to the follow-up contact from pharmacists.
Any prescriptions for supportive care medications can be filled at any Endeavor Health Outpatient Hospital Pharmacy or your community pharmacy of choice.
