As COVID-19 continues to impact our daily lives, our Cardiovascular Institute remains dedicated to serving our patients with all of your cardio and vascular needs.
We know that our new normal looks different with COVID-19. But it is imperative that acute cardio issues and urgent diagnostics be seen by a heart specialist as soon as possible to help prevent symptoms from worsening.
Telehealth appointments are available with our cardiologists and vascular specialists and can be taken from the comfort of your home via phone, tablet or computer. More advanced cases and urgent diagnostics must be seen in-person; and should be discussed with a physician to determine which appointment type is best for you.
As we reinstate more services, we want to remind you that your safety is and always has been our highest priority. We have implemented new scheduling and cleaning protocols as well as new in-office practices, such as:
• COVID-19 screening performed upon arrival • Patients are required to wear face mask/covering • Patients are required to maintain social distancing in waiting areas • Staff is equipped with proper protective equipment
If you are experiencing any cardiovascular issues, or want to be proactive about your heart health, contact us today at Maintain control of your cardiovascular health 847.86-HEART.
