The Division of Emergency Medicine has developed expertise in several areas with respect to emergency care toxicology, ultrasound and simulation-based experiential learning.
Toxicology
Our toxicology consultants are board-certified emergency medicine trained physicians with formal sub-specialty training in toxicology. We are one of the few emergency medicine practices in the country with local expertise within its organization.
Ultrasound
Our ultrasound-trained physicians provide education and training to our practitioners and residents so that they can provide the safest care possible to our patients.
Simulation
The Grainger Center for Simulation and Innovation (GCSI) has been developed over the years to provide state-of-the-art high-fidelity simulation training for practitioners and trainees within our organization. We are nationally recognized leaders in this rapidly developing area of medical training.
