“The field of rheumatology is developing rapidly and offering patients greater potential to feel better and have an improved quality of life.”
Dr. Ami Kothari is a board-certified rheumatologist. Her practice philosophy involves listening to patients to provide a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan and establish a strong doctor-patient relationship. She provides advanced treatments to reduce joint inflammation and help control the workings of the body’s immune system. She encourages patients to be active participants in developing the best treatment strategies as advancements in medicine continue to provide increased therapeutic options. Dr. Kothari also offers ultrasound-guided injections, which pinpoint the area receiving medication. Using this procedure helps decrease procedural pain and increase the effectiveness of treatment.
