Integrative Oncology Services
These concerts raised money for our patients with cancer in financial need and provided them with a limited number of free massage therapy and acupuncture sessions during their chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Philanthropy funding has provided free group and individual acupuncture treatments for children and adolescents who qualify for financial assistance. Therapies have helped with stress reduction, gastrointestinal, neurologic, pulmonary, oncologic, and psychiatric symptoms to provide relief for our most vulnerable patients.

Philanthropic grants have covered limited free acupuncture, massage, and other integrative services for financially qualified adult patients dealing with chronic pain, digestive, neurologic, psychiatric, and other non-cancer related conditions.
Technology
- Low-level Laser Acupuncture (picture of Patricia & Tracee)
For patients with needle phobia, pediatric patients, or those with contraindications for receiving traditional acupuncture (i.e. lymphedema), low- level laser acupuncture may provide relief of symptoms and conditions that traditional needle acupuncture offers.
International Impact
The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, our academic affiliate, serves as a member institution of this 73+ consortium of academic centers and healthcare systems in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Dr. Temple served as a past Policy Working Group Chair and continues to hold leadership positions in this organization. The Consortium collaborates on clinical, education, research, and policy work in the field of Integrative Medicine.
