NorthShore Immediate Care is dedicated to providing great care when you need it, without visiting an Emergency Room. Each center is equipped to serve your diagnostic needs with on-site lab and imaging services available, including access to same-day and conclusive COVID-19 and flu testing. Our physicians and Advanced Practice Providers are prepared to treat both adult and pediatric patients for the following medical conditions:
- Abscess
- Allergy
- Animal/Insect bites
- Asthma
- Broken bones/fractures
- Burns
- Cold, congestion
- COVID-19
- COVID-19 testing
- Diarrhea
- Eye injuries
- Flu
- Foreign body in eye, ear, nose

Orthopaedic Immediate Care
NorthShore Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine physicians know your injuries, symptoms and conditions can require immediate care, which is why we offer convenient, same-day visits for all of your orthopaedic concerns. Ligament and tendon injuries, muscle tears, fractures—we cover every orthopaedic issue. The locations have on-site radiology, casting, durable medical equipment, and are staffed by board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians. No appointment is necessary.

Telehealth
Given the resurgence of COVID-19 in the community, a telehealth appointment with their healthcare provider may be a safer option for many of our patients.
Existing appointments — Your physician may reach out to you to convert an in-person visit to a telehealth visit when clinically appropriate.
New appointments — Some physicians offer the ability to schedule telehealth visits on NorthShoreConnect. Look for the option to schedule a video or phone visit when scheduling your appointment or ask about a telehealth visit when calling for your appointment.
E-Visits
NorthShore now provides great care even when you can’t make it to our office. Using our secure online portal, patients can consult with a doctor from home, or wherever they are. Visit NorthShoreConnect online, or download the app to initiate an evisit today if you’re experiencing one of the following conditions:
- Back pain
- Diarrhea
- Red eye
- Sinus problems
- Urinary problems
- Vaginal discharge/irritation
E-Visit services are available on holidays, visit NorthShoreConnect online or download the app to initiate an evisit. For medical issues requiring immediate in-person attention on these days, please visit your nearest emergency room.

Laboratory Services
NorthShore offers convenient, accessible, and high quality laboratory services when you need them. Patients can get blood work, urine studies and submit other specimens ordered by their health care provider at all of our lab locations.

Emergency Departments
Our emergency rooms are staffed with specialists board-certified in emergency medicine. Each location is equipped with a cardiac catheter lab to provide emergent cardiac intervention. Additionally, each of our emergency rooms offers a minimum of 4 Fast Track settings for minor injuries.
